“After getting three bids for this job, it was very clear that you had the years of experience to deal with the crazy undulations in our floor to even it out for proper cabinet and appliance placement/leveling. We can’t believe that you were able to make a 1” variation in the floor height over just a few feet disappear without affecting thresholds into neighboring rooms. Also, thank you for understanding what was going on with our subfloor from room to room. Neither of these issues had been addressed by the others who bid on the job. The entry was about .5” higher than the kitchen which was .5” higher than the living room, all open to each other and the hallway. How you made ALL of those areas match while continuing to wrap the tile through an adjoining “L” shaped hallway and into the bathroom is incredible. Well done.
We also want to express our sincere appreciation for always being here when you said you would be. You never missed a day. We had anticipated the usual “We’ll be there tomorrow” and then have a no show, but that didn’t happen the entire week and a half you were here. That was truly surprising to us.
Finally, we wish to express our sincere appreciation regarding the financial aspect of this remodel. When we ran into cost over-runs on other areas of the remodel, you were such a huge help in suggesting alternative, great options to the more expensive first choice of tile we picked out. Honestly, this choice is so perfect that I’m glad you suggested the switch and saved us about $2k in the process. We also greatly appreciate that there were no surprises or additional costs at the end. Amazingly, we stayed within $1k of our entire kitchen remodel budget with your help!
